1- In dreams, a splinter can represent a minor irritation.
It is something which has penetrated our defences and is now making us uncomfortable. Splinters may represent painful words or ideas. YVc may be holding on to ideas which cause negative feelings.
2- To be part of a splinter group in a dream suggests feeling sufficiently strongly about something to break away from mainstream thought.
To hit something which splinters is to rccognisc that we are all composed of parts which make a whole.
3- The sense of belonging to a group of like-minded people can only come after we have recognised our isolation or, in some cases, fragmentation.
