1- The old adage that the sap rises in Spring is fully accepted by most people. In dream terms this means that we arc maybe ready to undertake new work or perhaps a new- relationship. We are aware of our own vitality and strength and prepared to take on new challenges.
2- Sap used to be a derogatory term for a wimp or someone who had no backbone. In a negative sense we may become aware in dreams of inappropriate behaviour or ideas. These have the effect of sapping our inner vitality.
3- The life-force we use can often be perceived as the sap in plants.
[1]The vital juices of plants and animals, sap represents bodily health and vigor (the sap of youth), which is why someone who feels depleted is “all sapped out.” Like the sap from the maple tree, someone who is excessively gullible or sentimental is “sappy” (sweet, syrupy).
[2]To see tree sap in your dream signifies physical health and energy. It may also represent someone who is overly gullible or sentimental.
[3]The life of a tree is in the sap, as the blood is to a person; see “tree”
[4]Emblematic of being full of life, Ps. 92:14
[5]1. Semen.
2. Energy.
