Material aspects: Pulling suggests a positive action. We are being alerted to the fact that we can do something about a situation. In dreams, if we are pulling we are making the decisions within a project.
If we are being pulled we may feel that we have to give in to outside pressures. Extra effort to have something happen may be necessary.
The object we are pulling, and the means by which we are pulling it, may be important.
For examples, see bridle, rope etc.
[1]At a certain stage of spiritual development, we can find ourselves being pulled in a certain direction. We may be compelled to do certain things without necessarily knowing where the impulse comes from.
The call could be, for instance, because of someone’s distress or to give us information we need. Dreams are a very effective way of implanting such ideas into our psyche.
[2]Psychological / emotional perspective: We may in everyday life find ourselves being pulled by our emotions and feel that we are powerless to resist. This can translate into the dream image of being pulled. We may feel that we have to go along with something and do not have the ability to refuse.
[3]Gives gender-specific: In slang terms, pulling means picking up a potential partner. In dreams this can actually translate itself into a physical feeling.
