1. If a group is observed that is controlled, not threatening in any way, the dreamer feels like he/she is accepted into the group.
2. If the group is disorderly and threatening, the dreamer feels like an outsider.
3. If the dreamer is separated from the group without any feeling of not being part of it, then the dreamer perceives him/herself as an independent thinker.
4. If there is a yearning to be part of the group, it means that one is yearning for acceptance.
[1]Material aspects: At some point in our lives, social skills become important to us. Groups and gangs in dreams show us how good we are at handling ourselves and others.
If we are members of either then we have passed some kind of personal test; in the case of gangs we may feel we have passed through some kind of initiation ceremony.
If we are rejected in dreams we ourselves may not yet be ready to belong.
[2]Dreams of a group denote a power and energy that is much stronger than that of an individual.
If you are a part of the group, you will feel strengthened, empowered, and supported.
If you don’t feel that you belong to this group, then you are dealing with feelings of intimidation, domination, fear of losing your individuality, and freedom.

[3]A group – usually of people – is a number of different individuals often from different backgrounds with a common aim. Spiritually it is usually this aim that will bind them together. Gangs will develop signs and language peculiar to themselves and will tend to anarchic or criminal behaviour. In dreams, therefore, a group will largely be peaceable and a gang noisier.
[4]Psychological / emotional perspective: Emotionally in dreams a group will tend to be supportive while a gang will be confrontational. Either can appear if we have problems in fitting in socially, and how we deal with them will provide information useful to us in everyday life.
[5]The presence in the dreams of well-characterized groups—whether ethnic, racial, national, or cultural—represents the qualities, attributes, or prejudices that you usually associate with these groups.
[6]To see a group in your dream represents the merging of various parts of your character and personality.
[7]Uniting different aspects of self.
