Following rather than leading.
Copying someone, tagging along, or “riding their coattails.” Following (a leader, a trend, etc.) blindly or without thinking for yourself.
Perceiving something as an add-on or accessory, or as an afterthought or nonessential.
Your issues or emotional baggage that “follow you” wherever you go.
